Alex Avery, a senior at Menlo School, was voted Nov. 6 the Most Valuable Player of the Peninsula Athletic League in boys’ high school water polo.
Alex committed to Stanford University in September. He is a National Merit Finalist. Alex’s coach at Menlo is Jack Bowen, a philosophy teacher and author of philosophy books.
