Menlo School captured its first Central Coast Section basketball title since 1991 by toppling top-seeded Palma, 49-39, in the Division IV finals on Friday in San Jose.
Meanwhile, in the CCS Division V finals, third-seeded Sacred Heart Prep (19-8) made 12 of 15 free throws, while top-seeded Woodside Priory (24-5) made just 4 of 16, as Sacred Heart Prep stunned Woodside Priory, 45-44, for the title.
