Menlo-Atherton’s Ethan Mimeles improved his personal best in the 3,200 meters by 15 seconds Saturday at the Serra Top 7 track and field meet, enough to win the event in 9:56.83, highlighting a successful day for both the M-A boys and girls teams.
Karl Zahlhaas-Liebner ran a sub 2-minute 800 for the first time, finishing third with a time of 1:59.11. Teammate Luke Scandlyn pushed him hard, finishing in an even 2:00.00 to place fourth. Their times place them 11th and 12th in school history. Read the story here.
