Menlo School’s football team took away enough experience from Saturday’s 30-28 nonleague loss to visiting Piedmont that it almost made up for not being able to play last week’s scheduled opener against Mission.

Mission was unable to put together an eligible team and Menlo was forced to scrimmage themselves while every other Peninsula Athletic League team began playing meaningful games. Piedmont, conversely, had two victories under its belt coming into the game. Read the story here.
