The NAIA announced Thursday that Menlo College’s Destinee Bowie and Aliyah Brantley were named to the Women’s Basketball All-American team. Bowie is on the second team and Brantley earned honorable mention, marking the first Oaks duo in the same season in five years. Menlo’s Jolise Limcaco and Laurel Donnenwirth were named in 2014.
Bowie averaged 18.7 points and 10 rebounds per game, making her the second Oak in as many seasons to average a double-double (Madison Michelis). Read the story here.
