Menlo’s Ibrahimovic earns fifth GSAC volleyball honor

Menlo College freshman outside hitter Edin Ibrahimovic earned Golden State Athletic Conference Men’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week honors for an unprecedented fifth time this season out of the 11 weeks the award has been issued.

Ibrahimovic had yet another brilliant week, coming up with 19 kills while hitting .375 in the Oaks lone match of the week, a victory at home over UC Merced. He finished the GSAC regular season leading the conference in total kills (292) and kills per set (4.8), while ranking seventh in hitting percentage (.321). Read the story here.
