Gunn’s Jared Freeman posted the top qualifying marks in both the shot put and discus Saturday at the Central Coast Section track and field trials at Gilroy High.
And his mark of 56-7 in the shot put was a personal-best and CCS season-best by a foot and a half. Freeman’s previous best was 55-1. He established a new personal-best on his second throw, which was marked at 55-8. Then on his final throw he went 56-7. Read the story here.
