Palo Alto earns No. 3 seed in CCS Open Division volleyball

Palo Alto earned the No. 3 seed in the Open Division as the Central Coast Section office released the official girls volleyball brackets on Thursday.

The SCVAL De Anza Division champion Vikings (20-6) lost to two CCS teams during the regular season: top seed Sacred Heart Cathedral (24-5) and No. 4 seed St. Francis (25-11). They also beat No. 2 Mitty (25-10), No. 7 Valley Christian (16-12) and No. 8 Menlo School (18-12). Read the story here.
