Sophomore Madi Truesdale delivered a walk-off single as Woodside scored six runs, all with two outs, to end with a 12-2 victory in five innings over visiting Notre Dame Belmont in a non-league softball contest Tuesday.
Truesdale, who had two hits on the day, was also the winning pitcher, allowing two runs on three hits. She struck out eight and walked one. Read the story here.
