Johno Price scored all five of his points during a 13-0 run that gave Menlo-Atherton the lead for good in Wednesday’s 65-46 boys basketball victory over St. Joseph’s Notre Dame as part of the Mt. Eden Invitational.

Jon Goker and Connor Cadigan each scored 11 points to pace the Bears (3-2), who host Mission in a non-league game Thursday at noon.

Doug Adams scored five of his nine points during the game-changing run and Jalen Williams added three of his nine.

In a non-league game, Gunn fell to visiting Pioneer on a last second buzzer 43-41.

Rogan Gibbons tied the score with a 3-pointer moments before.

Sam Mulkey and Ethan Kitch each scored 10 points for Gunn (7-2), which plays at the Milpitas Tournament on Monday. Gibbons added nine points and seven rebounds.

Also, Palo Alto fell to host Mitty, 61-31.

In girls basketball action, St. Francis raced past Aptos 63-21 at Cabrillo College and Castilleja fell to The King’s Academy 55-26.
