Catch author Angela Montoya in conversation with Hayley Dennings at the launch for Montoya’s new YA romantasy (romance/fantasy) “A Cruel Thirst.” The book is set to be published Dec. 17.
The book follows Carolina Fuentes, who longs to join her family in hunting and slaying the bloodthirsty vampires who menace their pueblo. Her father, though, wants instead to marry her off and keep her safe. When she meets the intriguing Lalo Villalobos, who’s fled the city in search of a way to lift the curse that has turned him to a vampire, the two find themselves joining forces. Montoya is also the author of “Sinner’s Isle.”
