Power has been out for almost two hours for nearly 900 Portola Valley and Woodside PG&E customers  on Thursday as of 11:20 a.m. According to PG&E’s outage map, the outage was unplanned, and likely due to damage along the lines.

PG&E’s outage map says that “(their) team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on.”

PG&E estimates that the power will be restored by 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.

“The cause of the outage is currently under investigation,” said Tamar Sarkissian, a PG&E spokesperson, in an email to this news organization.

The power at the Portola Valley library has been restored as of 12:30 p.m., and can serve as a cooling center for residents whose power is still affected.

Update: As of 4:10 p.m. the power has been restored for all but 86 customers.
