Here are the local residents who died recently:

Ronald Krasnow, 63, a Palo Alto resident, was a skilled attorney, competitive athlete and avid sports fan, who loved his hobbies including gardening, National Parks and his roles as teacher and mentor, who died on March 20, 2025.

Sheila Wyatt, 83, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many, who was an accomplished artist, gardener and life-long student, who died on March 23, 2025.

Katie Harris, 56, attended Castilleja School before going on to become a professor of history at UC Davis and an accomplished researcher focusing on early modern Spain, a devoted “sports mom,” dancer and artist, who died on Feb. 11, 2025.

Meryle Thompson, 99, who attended Stanford University during World War II and was an avid sports fan, reader of fiction and local news, accomplished cook and who was known for her kindness and thoughtful intelligence, who died on April 1, 2024.

Robert Yoerg, 85, who was a loved and respected psychiatrist in Belmont and as a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford Medial School, who was a long-term supporter of the arts, a traveler and a selfless and devoted family man, who died on March 19, 2025.
