Award-winning vocalist Samara Joy may be young, but she seems to have an old soul, with a deep appreciation for jazz history. She’s emerged as a major talent on the scene and has already earned three Grammy Awards (in 2023, for Best Jazz Vocal Album and Best New Artist, and in 2024 for Best Jazz Performance).
She’ll bring her velvety vocals to Stanford on May 22, following a string of performances at SFJazz Center in San Francisco.
