Leigh Ann Windell and Paul Gavin Koelsch were married October 8 at the University of California at Santa Cruz, where a reception was held at the University Centre.
The bride is the daughter of Betty Windell of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Claude Windell of Montara. A graduate of the College of the Royal Academy of Dance in London, she teaches at the Susan Hayward School of Dancing in Montara.
The bridegroom is the son of Janet and Peter Koelsch of Woodside. He is a graduate of Woodside High School and U.C. Santa Barbara. He is employed as an electrician at Decker Electric in South San Francisco.
Michelle Windell was her sister’s maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Marta Keller, Christine Cuneo, Britt Dal Canto and Rita Sargent. Magdalena Robb was the flower girl. Giovanni and Marco Dal Canto were ring bearers.
Jeffrey Cramer was best man. Jeb Boynton, Mike Mennick, Scott Sargent and Anthony Dal Canto were ushers.
The day after the ceremony, the wedding couple, with the bride wearing her veil, were joined by the wedding party and family for a ride on the Giant Dipper at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz.
The newlyweds are living in El Granada. They are planning a trip to Alaska this summer.
