Twenty-three young women, who have completed six years of volunteer work and training, were honored at the senior presentation of the National Charity League, Stanford Hills Chapter, on March 11 at the Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel.
The young women made their debut at “Presents” wearing white formal gowns.
The National Charity League includes mothers and their daughters in grades six to 12. The purpose of the organization, which was founded in the 1940s, is to foster a close mother/daughter relationship and encourage volunteer work in the community.
Cyndie Pogue is president of the Stanford Hills chapter of the National Charity League. The chairs of the senior presentation committee were Susan Evans, Jayne Mordell and Nicole Patton.
Members of the senior class of 2006 are Andrea Berry, Katelyn Bouret, Rebecca Carr, Kelly Cave, Lauren Evans, Jessica Foley, Julie Garces, Claire Gros de Mange, Catie Hagman, Candice Hansen, Alison Harrigan, Krysta Heffner, Allison Hughes, Bergen Illstad-Minnihan, Molly Magnuson, Whitney Mapes, Gina Masia, Melissa Mordell, Elysia Myers, Victoria Patton, Elizabeth Rouleau, Alison Samuels and Blair Smith.
