All Five Schools in Menlo Park appointed Omi Lindsey as its new executive director after the school board voted unanimously to select her. Lindsey brings over 25 years of experience working with children and most recently served as the strategy and operations manager for the Google Children’s Centers.

Lindsey was born in India and believes that high quality early childhood education can drive societal change. She is also knowledgeable about child-driven and play-based learning models, which are part of the All Five mission.

“Due to the current economic climate, ECE – on its most basic level – must function as childcare,” said Lindsey in a statement. “In America, there are fewer resources available to provide for children, and families are less likely to have a ‘village’ around them to help provide care so parents can earn money to live.”
