A Woodside horse rider and horse were injured after a vehicle struck them from behind and fled the scene around 6:45 p.m. on July 1. The hit-and-run occurred near the intersection of Woodside Road and Hacienda Drive as the victim was riding a horse along the shoulder of the road, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.Â
