The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man suspected of stalking a resident of Kings Mountain. The victim reported the stalker to local law enforcement at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 16, according to a press release. The arrest was made the following day.
The Kings Mountain resident reported that the suspect had been visiting her house for the past two years, leaving her more than 20 notes at her property and visiting unannounced about 41 times. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the victim reported that the suspect threw gasoline on her legs in July.
The suspect was taken into custody after the Millbrae Police Bureau located the individual driving on El Camino Real in the city of Millbrae. He has been booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for felony stalking and felony assault with chemicals.
An Emergency Protective Order was granted to the victim by a judge.
