On Thursday Sept. 5, a woman driving a minivan accelerated through the fence of an apartment complex near Nealon Park on Roble Avenue in Menlo Park and flipped her car onto its side, according to Menlo Park Fire Protection District Fire Chief Mark Lorenzen.
The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and no other individuals were harmed in the accident. The area is now clear.
