The city of Menlo Park hosted its first “Trunk-or-Treat” at Belle Haven Community Campus on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 29. The event, at the new community hub located at 100 Terminal Ave., drew a crowd of about 220 people. Attendees were mostly folks who walked to the event, exemplifying how it was a truly community event, according to organizers.
Instead of walking door-to-door, kids went from car-to-car. Each vehicle’s trunk was festively decorated.
The city provided trunk-or-treaters with a free trick-or-treat bag. There were carnival games and music along with the candy.
