Jeff Risberg, vice president of engineering for the Serus Corp., will speak on “World of Tomorrow: Design & Technology in the 1930s” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Museum of American Heritage in Palo Alto.

“The 1930s marked a major change in design philosophy,” says a museum spokesperson. “Come discover how the events of 1930s still resonate in today’s designs.”

“Mr. Risberg’s June lecture was such a hit, we asked him to give it again,” the spokesperson said.

Admission is free for museum members and costs $5 for others.

The talk will be at the Frank Livermore Learning Center at the Museum of American Heritage, 351 Homer Ave., Palo Alto.

Museum exhibits will be open before and after the presentation, beginning at 7 p.m.
