The 11th annual Menlo Park Sidewalk Fine Arts and Crafts Fall Festival will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct. 19-21, on Santa Cruz Avenue in downtown Menlo Park. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More than 90 artists and craftspeople are expected to display their work, including sterling and 14 karat gold jewelry, photography, wood sculptures, oil and watercolor paintings, collages, and more. The artists will be on hand to talk with patrons while some will demonstrate their craft during the show.
Among the artists is Lorna Ritter of Napa who will display a “wearable art” collection of hand-painted women’s clothing and accessories. Her dresses, vests, pillows and handbags each sport designs of animals, flowers, martini glasses, or geometric shapes.
The fall festival is sponsored by the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce. For more information, call the chamber at 325-2828.
