The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting cooler — yep, another flu season is here.
A free flu shot clinic is being held on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon at Woodside Fire Protection District’s main station, 3111 Woodside Road in Woodside.
Influenza vaccine is recommended for people age 60 and older; people with serious long-term health problems such as heart or lung disease, asthma or diabetes; and health care workers. The clinic will not offer shots to pregnant women or children ages 14 and under.
