San Mateo County opened its new Veterans Service Office in Belmont Tuesday.
The office, staffed by four, will provide expanded services for veterans, including assistance in applying for benefits, said Gary Beasley, human services manager for the program.
The office is located in Building A at 260 Harbor Blvd., between Old County Road and U.S. 101, in Belmont.
Veterans seeking services can call veterans service officer Jim Kenney at 802-6598.
