With the death of former President Jimmy Carter, the Post Office is closed on Thursday, Jan. 9, for remembrance of Carter. Consequently, the print edition of The Almanac will be mailed on Friday for Saturday delivery (instead of Thursday for Friday).

Local community group Menlo Together and several other interested residents have been working to support housing on parking lots in downtown Menlo Park.
