Big save leads Sacred Heart Prep into WCAL title match

Cody Weibe’s goal-saving play in the final minutes allowed Sacred Heart Prep to beat visiting Bellarmine, 8-6, in the semifinals of the West Catholic Athletic League Boys’ Lacrosse tournament on Wednesday.

The top-seeded Gators (18-3) host No. 2 St. Ignatius (10-7) in the finals on Friday. Sacred Heart lost to St. Ignatius, in San Francisco, earlier this season 7-6 but are ready for battle in the playoffs. Read the story here.
