The Menlo College men’s soccer team played its most important match of the Golden State Athletic Conference on Thursday in terms of the conference standings and seeding for the GSAC tournament. The Oaks delivered a 2-0 victory over host No. 24 Vanguard to move into a second-place tie with the Lions and claim the tie-breaker.

Menlo (11-4, 5-2) positioned itself for a first round bye in the postseason and can do so Saturday with a win over Hope International in Costa Mesa. Read the story here.
