Junior setter Hanna Hoffman recorded a double-double with 24 assists and 11 digs to go with a pair of assists as host Menlo topped Sacred Heart Prep, 25-14, 25-14, 25-19, in a West Bay Athletic League girls’ volleyball match Monday.

Emma Donley and Sharon Nejad each had seven kills for the Knights (3-0), who have yet to drop a set. Menlo has one more match scheduled, traveling to Notre Dame in Belmont sometime in April.

Sara Alnajjar and Mele Langi gave Sacred Heart Prep (0-2) some quality action at the net.

Brooke Dombkowski added four kills and six digs for Menlo while juniors Hallie MacDonald had nine digs and an ace and Alli McKenney added 11 digs.

In the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League, defending Central Coast Section Division I champions Gunn dropped its opener to visiting Mountain View, 25-18, 25-23, 25-17, Monday.

Katie Kudriavtsev is the lone returning player from last year’s championship squad. Gunn is scheduled to play at Los Altos on Wednesday evening.

Girls’ tennis

Menlo cruised to a 7-0 win over visiting Notre Dame-Belmont in West Bay Athletic League play Monday.

The Knights improved to 4-1 in league, 7-1 overall. Menlo hosts Sacred Heart Prep Tuesday on Senior Day.

Girls’ golf

Sacred Heart Prep beat Castilleja, 243-256, in a WBAL match on Monday at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club.
