Sergio Beltran passed for five more touchdowns, three in the first quarter, and Menlo School blew out Mission of San Francisco 56-6 in a non-league football game at Menlo on Saturday.
Beltran has thrown 17 touchdown passes while Menlo has scored 168 points and allowed 24 in three games this season.
Carter Jung caught three of Beltran’s touchdown passes Saturday, and also returned an interception for a touchdown. Cort Halsey and Robby Enright also caught touchdown passes.
Beltran and backup quarterback Jake Bianchi each rushed for a score and Ross Muchnick recorded eight PATs and is 24 of 24 for the season.
The offensive line, Noah Kornfeld, Aidan Housenbold, Avery Romain, Max Kinder and Aidan Zhou, provided time for Beltran to pass, and also for him to score on a 1-yard TD run for a 36-0 lead midway through the second quarter.
The Knights (3-0) host Terra Nova (3-0) at 2 p.m. Saturday in a non-league contest.
