Freshman Norah Yang continues her amazing season by again earning medalist honors for Castilleja in a 225-255 victory over Menlo School at Menlo Country Club on Monday.

Yang fired a nine-hole round of 36, helping to keep the Gators undefeated in West Bay Athletic League play. Menlo’s Joelle Kim and Casti’s Joanne Zhao were each one stroke back at 37.
Zoya Chughtai came in with a 47 for Castilleja (6-0). Masako Yang and Sophia Trabanino also scored for the Gators, who play at San Jose Muni against Notre Dame San Jose next Monday.
Menlo (4-3) plays Harker (4-0) on Friday at the Sunnyvale Golf Club.
Hailey Kim shot a round of 40 for the Knights, while Chloe Lee, Indrira Abhyanker and Emma Wang also scored.
The WBAL tournament is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 25 at Sunnyvale Golf Club.
PAL Bay Division
Nathalie Benrey and Katie Spivakovsky each shot a round of 40 but Menlo-Atherton lost by four strokes, 239-243, to undefeated Hillsdale at Poplar Creek Golf Club on Monday.
Also scoring for the Bears (5-3) were Charlotte Dunn, Angelina Heller and Carter St. Claire.
The Peninsula Athletic League holds its Central Coast Section team qualifying event on Tuesday, Oct. 19 and its championships on Thursday, Oct. 21.
