Menlo-Atherton extended its winning streak to six in a row Thursday with a 38-7 win over Terra Nova in Pacifica.
M-A (6-2, 3-0) is tied for first place with Burlingame (7-0, 3-0) in the PAL Bay Division. Burlingame hosts Half Moon Bay on Friday and plays at M-A next Friday, Oct. 29.
After falling behind 7-0 on a Dane Fifita touchdown run, Terra Nova (3-5, 0-3) went on a long drive, taking nine minutes off the clock, only to come up empty when the M-A defense made a stop on fourth and goal.
The Bears responded immediately when Jalen Moss took a screen pass 91 yards for a touchdown.
M-A scored twice more in the first half on a 40-yard pass to Fifita and a 4-yard run by JoJo Flood to make it 28-0 at halftime.The Bears scored four touchdowns on four first-half possessions.

M-A’s Juan Pulido connects on a field goal to complete Thursday night’s scoring.
Matt MacLeod and Moss connected on a 92-yard touchdown pass in the second half and a Juan Pulido field goal closed out the scoring.
Linebackers Sosaia Pongi, Devin Hyde and Douglas Adams led the way on the M-A defense. Jeremiah Earby had an interception.
