Sacred Heart Prep overcame an early deficit to beat Campolindo 9-6 in the Northern California Division I boys water polo semifinals Thursday.

Will Swart scored three goals and added an assist for top-seeded SHP (31-4), which hosts No. 3 Miramonte at 5 p.m. Saturday for the NorCal title.

Miramonte edged No. 2 De La Salle 14-13 to advance to Saturday’s final.

Brody Crouch scored twice within 38 seconds midway through the first period to give Campolindo the early advantage.

Sacred Heart Prep eventually tied the match at 3-all when Gavin West scored with 25 seconds left in the opening period.

Swart gave the Gators the lead for good with 2:03 left in the second half on an even-strength goal. He also opened the second half with a goal.

Luke Johnston scored with 3:49 remaining to play to give SHP its largest lead of the day at 9-4.

The game was dominated by the goalies. Griff Price recorded 14 saves and had a .700 save percentage while Campolindo’s West Tempkin had 15 saves and a .625 save percentage.

Sacred Heart Prep opened its season with a scrimmage at Miramonte. The two teams last met April 15 toward the end of the shortened season, with the Gators winning, 10-4.

In Division III, Gunn beat Lodi 14-9 and will host Harker at 2 p.m. Saturday for the NorCal title.

Harker finished second to Gunn in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division and then went on to win the Central Coast Section Division III title. Gunn beat Palo Alto for the CCS Division I title.

Cole Vale and Wolfgang Edholm each scored four goals for the Titans against Lodi.

Kenza Ashworth scored seven goals, had three assists and made three steals and Gunn went on to beat visiting Lodi 11-8 in the NorCal regional Division III semifinals Thursday.

Pooja Bucklin scored twice for second-seeded Gunn (21-10), who travels to play top seeded Santa Cruz (17-5) for the NorCal title at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Santa Cruz, the Central Coast Section Division III champion, beat Dixon 4-3 to advance. Gunn won the CCS Division II title.

Gunn scored the first four goals of its match against Lodi and led 11-3 late in the third quarter before easing off the pedal.

Nina Albers added a goal, an assist and six steals. Siham Arsalane scored and had two assists. Goalie Jayden Kratt made 10 steals and had a pair of assists.

In Division I, Sacred Heart Prep (27-4) lost to top-seeded Miramonte (27-0), 12-8. Details were not immediately available.
