Halloween Hoopla in Menlo Park

The city of Menlo Park is hosting its annual Halloween Hoopla and carnival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Fremont Park. The parade will go down Santa Cruz Avenue and start in the parking lot behind Cheeky Monkey toy store at 640 Santa Cruz Ave.

This year, the city is introducing “Howl-o-ween Walker” so attendees can bring their furry friends to participate in the parade.

Trick-or-treaters will receive a free bag to use when visiting downtown stores to collect treats. The carnival will feature jumpers, prizes, candy, balloons and temporary tattoo artists. The Fremont Park stage will have performances by Lori and RJ, who will be hosting an interactive party with music, dancing, puppets, magic and more.
