San Mateo County still needs election workers to help at polling places throughout the county on election day, Tuesday, June 6, from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.

A poll worker must be a registered voter who can read and write in English. Students at least 16 years old can do it with permission from their parent or guardian, and their school.

Poll workers earn from $80 to $125, depending on their assignment, plus $25 for a training class.

To sign up, call 286-2810 or go online to shapethefuture.org.
