The San Mateo County Fair, located at 2495 S. Delaware St. in San Mateo, is providing free admission for anyone who arrives before 3 p.m. today (Aug. 19).
The fair will be open from noon to 10 p.m. Regular admission prices are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children 6-12, and free to children 5 and under.
In addition to daily events such as the newly introduced “tech and sustainable” activities, today’s main event is a musical performance by Tower of Power, a 10-member soul and R&B band. The concert will take place on the main stage at 7:30 p.m.
There will also be pig races next to Melody Revelry Stage at 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
