The Atherton Library hosted a cave exploration experience with CaveSim, which designs, builds and uses interactive caves to teach kids about conservation and science, on Jan. 27.
In a 60 feet artificial cave passage, visitors of all ages were able to gain hands-on experience on responsible caving. The interactive experience also offered a 12-foot tall tower for vertical cave climbing. CaveSim also gave visitors the opportunity to practice using a cave rescue stretcher, rescue phone and learn about bat biology.
