John Abraham, 89, a Palo Alto resident who was born in Illinois, who graduated from Stanford University and who was a statistician and a teacher, died on July 31, 2025.

Kenneth Bilodeau, 77, a Palo Alto resident who worked at numerous high-tech startups, who helped form the investment management company AKJ Asset Management and who was a superb woodworker and a private pilot, died on Sept. 28, 2025.

Carolyn Compton, 89, a Palo Alto resident who received a doctorate from Stanford University, who held leadership roles at the Children’s Health Council, who co-founded the Morrissey Compton Educational Center and who served as a clinical assistant professor at Stanford University Medical Center died on May 15, 2025.

Caroline Orr-Kissner, 76, a Los Altos resident who grew up in Palo Alto, earned a master’s degree in public administration, spent her early career at the nonprofit organization United Cerebral Palsy and volunteered by running a soup kitchen, supporting schools and comforting veterans in hospice, died on Oct. 2, 2025.

John Bingham, 92, a Palo Alto resident who was born in London, who earned a master’s degree from Stanford University, who worked at various technology companies and was key engineer in development of full duplex modem, who held more than 25 patents in the field of digital communications and who loved singing, folk dancing, hiking and traveling, died on Sept. 24, 2025.
